Orihuela Costa is the coastal area of the Orihuela City and is located between the Cities of Alicante and Cartagena on the South Costa Blanca. (3)

Orihuela Costa comprises many different districts, the most well known being Punta Prima, Playa Flamenca, La Zenia, Cabo Roig, Campoamor,  Los Dolses and Villamartin.

 

Shopping and Leisure (4)

At the heart of Orihuela Costa, you will find the hugely popular Zenia Boulevard shopping mall, the largest shopping centre in the region of Alicante. Described by many people as a beautiful shopping village, with its avenues, squares and fountains, daily activities and events for all the family, in an open air setting, and with a stunning Mediterranean backdrop.

This Shopping experience has been designed for both enjoyment and entertainment with over 150 shops including, Alcampo, Decathlon, Primark, Leroy Merlin, Conforama, Media Markt, Zara, H&M, C&A, Massimo Dutti, Rituals, Swarowski, Pandora and many more. And when you need to recharge your batteries, there is an enticing selection of cafes, ice cream shops, bars and specialist restaurants. As well as all of this, there is a dedicated children’s adventure zone, ten-pin bowling alley, and even a casino for the more adventurous amongst us!

As the name suggests Orihuela Costa has many fine quality white sandy beaches including La Zenia, Cabo Roig, Playa Flamenca and Campoamor. All of them have been awarded the European Blue Flag, which signifies high standards of water cleanliness, safety and good family facilities. For the boating enthusiast there are two marinas in the area both offering excellent facilities.

Orihuela Costa is a popular destination for golfers, boasting four championship golf courses, Las Ramblas, Campoamor, Las Colinas and Villamartin, all within a few minutes drive of each other. And the Costa Blanca is well known for its various other courses, all within an easy drive.

In addition to golf there is an array of other activities to keep the whole family entertained including Go-Karting, Fairgrounds, Paint Balling, 10 Pin Bowling, Watersports, Horse Riding, Crown Green Bowling……… to name just a few.

Orihuela Costa enjoys a warm Mediterranean climate with over 300 days of sunshine and relatively low rainfall. August being the hottest month of the year, with an average temperature of 29°C (84.2°F); and the coldest being January with average temperatures of 11°C (51.8°F).

Getting Here (4)

Flight access to the area is excellent with two main airports in close proximity. Alicante airport is a 45 minute drive away and Murcia airport is just 20 minutes.
